2. Hosting via GitHub Pages
This website is provided via GitHub Pages. The providers are GitHub B.V., Prins Bernhardplein 200, 1097 JB Amsterdam, Netherlands, and GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you visit the website, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include in particular your IP address, the time of the request, the page accessed and information about your browser and operating system. GitHub points out that the IP address is logged and stored for security purposes when a GitHub Pages website is visited.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely, stably and reliably. You can find further information in GitHub’s privacy statement.
GitHub also processes data in the USA and other countries. For international transfers, GitHub describes, among other things, standard contractual clauses and its participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details of the safeguards can be found in GitHub’s privacy statement linked above.
3. Local content, cookies and analytics
Fonts, images and stylesheets are delivered directly by this website. Loading a page does not establish a connection to external font, image or video services. The only exception is the statistics script from Plausible Analytics (see below).
This website does not use any advertising trackers or contact forms and does not store any cookies of its own in your browser. To measure reach, we use a cookie-free statistics tool.
We use Plausible Analytics from Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. Plausible does not set cookies and does not store anything on your device. It tells us which pages are visited and how often, through which website, search engine or AI assistant visitors reach us (including campaign details such as “utm_source”), which browsers, operating systems and device types are used, and roughly which country, region and city the visits come from.
Plausible uses the IP address and browser identifier (user agent) to create an identifier that is valid for one day only; the random value used for this is deleted every 24 hours. The IP address and browser identifier themselves are not stored. We only see aggregated figures and can neither identify visitors personally nor track them across several days or websites.
The data is processed in the EU, according to Plausible on servers in Germany. Plausible processes it on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in understanding which content is used and how visitors find us, so that we can improve the website. We keep the aggregated statistics for as long as we use Plausible. You can object to the measurement, for example by blocking scripts from plausible.io in your browser. Further information can be found in Plausible’s data policy.
If you choose a language via “DE | EN”, your browser stores this choice in its local storage (entry “wwe-sprache”) so that further pages appear in that language. The entry stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to answer your enquiry. This may include in particular your name, contact details, the content of your enquiry and any other information you choose to provide.
Where the enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general enquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry properly. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
5. WhatsApp, LinkedIn and appointment booking
This website contains external links to WhatsApp, our LinkedIn profiles and appointment booking via TidyCal. No social media plug-ins are embedded. No content from these providers is loaded when our website loads. Only when you open a link do you switch to the respective service, which may then process personal data.
If you send us a message there or book an appointment, we process your contact details and the content of your message or booking in order to respond and to hold the appointment. For contract-related enquiries this is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for general enquiries on our legitimate interest in answering them properly under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Use is voluntary. Alternatively, you can reach us by email or phone. Information on processing by the platforms, including possible international data transfers, can be found in the privacy notices of WhatsApp, LinkedIn and TidyCal.
6. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose. The data is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage apply.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
In particular, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise your rights, simply send a message to contact@work-with-ease.com.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., 1592 Sofia, Bulgaria, email: kzld@cpdp.bg, Website: cpdp.bg.
9. Updates to this policy
We update this privacy policy when the website or the services used change.
