About us

Two perspectives.
One team.

We are Andrea Kaden and Ralf Westphal. Together we help people in the office work more simply, more digitally and with AI – Andrea from hands-on experience in office organisation, Ralf from software development.

Where we live

At the end of the road.
With a view of the mountains.

In 2019, after 35 years, we left Hamburg. We wanted to live in the countryside, closer to nature, with better weather and a lighter way of life. We looked around Europe – Estonia, France’s Atlantic coast, the Mediterranean. In the end it was clear: the sea isn’t for us. We are mountain people.

So we moved to the Pirin mountains in Bulgaria. First with light luggage into a small flat, then into a house of our own at the edge of the village. So we don’t live quite as minimally as planned. But we do live quietly, as if on a small island, looking out on mountains and nature.

This is our counterweight to the agitation in the media and world politics. Here we find peace – and here many ideas come about for tools, methods and the use of AI in the office. Because that is our passion.

Our clients are mainly based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Online, you can reach us easily at any time. And we are happy to come by: for training, consulting and coaching at the workplace we are regularly on site.

After years of working mostly online, we value this all the more: sitting at one table together, with full energy.

CEO · AI and digitalisation for leaders and teams

  1. Earlier

    Many years as an assistant, in the thick of everyday office life.

  2. 2009

    Self-employed – at first as a personal assistant for the paperless office.

  3. Then

    This grows into digital consulting for teams, departments and whole companies: more order, more systematic work and finally making proper use of the tools already there. Microsoft 365, for example, which was bought but never trained.

  4. Cloud

    Online services bring more and more possibilities. They need to be checked, questioned and tried out.

  5. 2023

    AI arrives, on top of all the other tools. That makes the work more exciting – and more challenging.

Many people still know Andrea as Zeitgewinn Hamburg. That has now become WORK WITH EASE.

  1. 1986

    His first company while still studying computer science.

  2. 1988

    His second company: ten years as managing director and developer.

  3. 1998

    From building software to passing on knowledge: training software developers, first in new technologies, then in software architecture and teamwork.

  4. After that

    Twelve years focusing on sustainable software development.

  5. Since 2020

    Step by step towards Andrea’s subjects: office work, its processes and tools.

Ralf is the thinker in our team. He questions things critically, puts ideas to the test and develops new solutions from them. He supports leaders and teams with AI projects all the way to implementation – for example with vibe coding, where teams build their own tools.

We have been married since 2022, and in the years since we have also grown closely together professionally. We prepare events together, test technologies and develop tools. And we stand up front together, in training and consulting.

We complement each other: two perspectives show the same subject from different angles, so everyone finds a way in. Our clients appreciate that too.
