Our services have two sides:

Topic · AI in the office

AI as an assistant.
Not a better Google.

AI is changing office work more than anything has for a long time. Used well, it doesn’t feel like a search engine but like collaboration: you hand over a task, and someone works on it with you.

Even so, AI remains one tool among many. It contributes to what we are always about: better collaboration in the office. That is why, for us, going digital and AI belong together.

The spectrum

From chatbot
to assistant.

AI tools come in many forms. Most people know the chatbot in the browser. The important next step is the AI assistant on the desktop. That’s where we want to take you.

  1. 1

    Chatbot in the browser

Ask questions, have texts written, do research. With ChatGPT or Claude, for example.

  2. 2

    Your own chatbot

Starts with a fixed instruction, is geared to one task and knows your documents if needed. Depending on the provider it is called a GPT, bot, assistant or agent. Many people already handle these quite confidently.

  3. 3

    AI assistant on the desktop

Runs as an app on your own computer. Takes on long tasks – twenty minutes, an hour. Works with your files and programs, writes itself small programs and notes.

This is where we want to take you.
  4. 4

    Your own AI assistant

The desktop assistant can be customised too: with skills and tools that suit your work.

What comes out of it

Content.
Or a program.

AI produces two kinds of results. Almost everyone knows the first. The second is only just becoming really possible – and it changes the most.

01 / Content

The result itself

A text, a translation, a table, a piece of research. Step by step you and the AI work towards the result – whether the sources are on the internet or in your own documents.

02 / Program · ‘vibe coding’

Software that does the work

The AI writes a program, and the program does the work. In the browser this was too cumbersome for non-programmers. With the AI assistant on the desktop it becomes a real option. This is how you close gaps in your tools:

The way out of AI frustration.

Why AI is different

No buttons.
A space full of possibilities.

Conventional software has a fixed set of features: 3, 15 or 55 buttons. Know them, and you have mastered the program. AI offers a space of capabilities instead. What it can do cannot be listed. You have to explore it.

That explains why many people are frustrated. We are practised at using features. AI also calls for two further roles that hardly anyone is prepared for.

Practised: using features

Operators

use the features a program offers.

Specialists

know a program in depth and get a lot out of it.

Newly needed: building and exploring

Engineers

build their own tools and ways to solve problems.

Scientists

explore what AI can do in the first place.

Don’t roll it out centrally.
Enable people.

AI doesn’t have to be rolled out from above as a finished tool. People can build their own tools: their own chatbot or a small program, for themselves or their team.

Solutions that emerge right at the workplace arrive faster than centrally planned ones. And people who can help themselves experience their work as more effective.

Data protection and policies

Take data protection seriously.
Use the room you have.

We always keep sensitive data and the GDPR in mind. There are two limits: the legal one, which is firm. And the one set by your own policies, which you decide yourself.

We argue for smart policies: move your own limit as close to the legal one as possible. Don’t break the law, but don’t over-interpret it either. Recognise risks without overestimating them. As few restrictions as necessary, as much AI at the workplace as possible.

Your own policy often sits well short of the legal limit. There’s more room. →
